Major planet Saturn has just started moving forward after a retrograde move last week. We also witnessed one of the longest lunar eclipses that pulled down global equities last week.
Astronomically, June 21st marks the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere and longest night in the Southern Hemisphere. Some major directional changes are expected in global equities from 21st June 2011
It is no coincidence that the Fed meeting and announcements, China's bailout meetings for Eurozone and a lot of other global economic data indicators are coming out next week.


Forecast for Dow: Expecting the current correction to continue on Monday and then slowly start a technical pullback towards 12k mark; buy on dips and subsequent retracements will be a good strategy

Forecast for FTSE: Disturbing news may continue for FTSE for 1 more week and sell on rise is a better strategy. May test 5500 again next week

Forecast for Nifty: Nifty will continue to mirror the movements in Dow during the morning and FTSE in the afternoon. Expected range is 5225 to 5500

Forecast for Euro-USD: Expect range bound movements between 1.39 and 1.43 during the week

Forecast for GBP-USD: Expect range bound movements between 1.6 and 1.62 during the week

Forecast for USD-JPY: JPY may depreciate further vis a vis USD; Long positions closer to 79-80 can be profitable
