December 2019 Monthly Horoscope for Capricorn

There are two planetary forces in your corner in December, Capricorn, and they are ready to do the fighting for you. Mars and Neptune will be squared during this month. What does this mean? Put simply, this is the month for you to come out swinging. This could mean confronting someone that you've needed to for a while, or proving your mettle at work, or finally taking a stand on some bigger issue that needs a voice in the world. Odds are good it's going to mean all three and more. December is going to be a very busy month for you.

Sometimes it can seem like romantic relationships are always in conflict, even in the best of times. Putting two people together will always result in a little bit of tension. It can also mean dampening down things so they won't escalate: sometimes you just want things to go easily. Well Capricorn, December is the month where you need to air some of those grievances out. No, we don't want you to show up to dinner with a laundry list of petty concerns. But odds are good there's something that's been bothering you in your current relationship that a bit of air time would help tremendously. Take this time to do that, but as an adult. Nothing petty. If there's a good date for this, we'd recommend it around the 10th. You want to talk things out and make sure no one is leaving feeling hurt. After that, for the rest of the month, listen very closely to what your loved ones want and what they ask for. This is the time for things long-repressed to come to the surface.

Financially you'll want to lay low this month. December is not going to be the time for big, reckless purchases. Put aside as much money as you can, especially as you're going into January. In fact, if you don't have one already, consider getting a second job or some other side hustle. This is a good time to pursue that hobby that you thought might make a little bit of money. Or if nothing comes to mind, consider driving for Uber. The point is: you want to get to squirreling it away for a bit. Rainy days are coming. That said, certainly don't skimp when it comes to holiday presents. You don't want to be a complete Scrooge.

December is the time of reflection for most people, what with it being the end of the year and all. It's no different for you, Capricorn, although you're going to want to do it with a particular focus. You need to pick a day in the last week of December to be a truly quiet ‘you' day. You're going to sit and think about the past twelve months and everything you've done and everything you've become. It's a lot to take in, but you deserve to soak all that in and to praise yourself. Then start thinking about what you want to become in 2020. You might realize it's time to leave your current job, or stay in it with new vigor. It might come to you that a move is in order across the country, or you'll double down in your current place, eager to set up roots. You might want to find a bunch of new people to be with, or you'll be filled with the desire to call all your old and current friends to say how important they are to you. The results don't matter now. What does matter is that you start figuring out what's important to you and that you embrace those values as you head straight into the new year.
