April 2020 Monthly Horoscope for Leo
It’s tough being the leader. Sometimes it can be lonely. You’ve had a busy year so far, Leo, and we’re only a quarter of the way through it. Luckily, this spring enables you to rest a little bit. But please note: it’s only for a little bit. You’ve got a lot of work to do in April and we’re here to help guide you through it.
As you know, 2020 is a very important year for the stars and planets. Why? Well, the conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn is a merger of cosmic proportions for every sign and the effects of this union will be felt for years. For you, in particular, Leo, it means people are going to look to you to guide and lead them into the future. Everyone around you is going to think you have all the answers. Whether you do or not (spoiler: you do not), you need to proceed with confidence. So even though you’re making it up as you go along (spoiler: everyone is doing that), you’re going to do so with confidence, knowing that with whatever happens, you’ll land on your feet.
The first week of April is going to challenge you on many fronts. You might find some resistance from family members on ideas you’ve long thought of pursuing. Hear them out and consider what they have to say, but also listen to how long you’ve been wanting to do these things. Is there a career move you’ve been considering for a while? Maybe a desire to go back to school? Maybe you just want to pursue a hobby that you’ve put off for a long time because you were afraid people would think it was weird. It’s time to give some airtime to those desires. Your family cares about you and wants what’s best for you, but ultimately you’re the one who knows what you need best. Listen to that voice and follow it.
That first week might also have some work-related friction coming your way. You won’t be in trouble with your boss or anything like that, but the people you work with might be a little overly-stressed and grouchy. This is the time to put those leadership skills to work. What people around you are looking for is someone to emulate and you can be - if you accept this mission - that person. You’re going to do that by very publicly making sure that you and your work are all operating at the highest possible level. Dot your “i”s and cross your “t”s. You are going to be a leader by example, not by pushing. Make sure you do all this so everyone can see, but don’t be a showoff. And be ready to fail in public as well. It’s not only okay but actually really very good for a leader to fail in front of their followers.
By the middle of the month, you should have some good patterns established for working hard and leading people, maybe even taking on a student or two. These could be people looking for a mentor, and why not you? But being a mentor is hard work and you don’t want to neglect your own needs. In particular, you don’t want to ignore your health. You’ve most likely been burning the midnight oil for a while now and running yourself ragged. You need to remember, Leo, that this is a marathon, not a race. Make sure to take some time by the second week of the month to check in on your health, maybe even take a day off. This is also the perfect time to make a doctor’s appointment for a checkup if you haven’t done that lately.
You’re a natural-born leader, Leo, and that has its own peculiar stresses to it that not everyone can understand. You’ve dealt with those for a while and will continue to do so. What’s important in April is that you don’t let those stresses overtake you while still keeping the train rolling. Things aren’t going to lighten up too much in May or June, so you want to begin the process of enforcing a steady pace in your work. And make sure you trust in your abilities. People look up to it. Get used to that.
