February 2020 Monthly Horoscope for Gemini

It's time to wake up Gemini. You've been sleepwalking a little bit lately and dragging yourself around. We hate to do it, but it's time for a little tough love. The skies are calling out to you with great opportunities for growth and prosperity, but you're too sluggish right now to hear what they're saying. No more! Pull that blanket off and get yourself into the metaphorical shower. You've got to face February like it's the first month of the rest of your life, because it is.

You have one planetary force that could be aggressively working for you or against you this month. Mars is going to be entering the house of Capricorn around the 16th and this could wreck all sorts of havoc for you, Gemini. It could also be just the jolt you need to get you out of complacency. Whichever way it turns is going to be entirely up to you, so you'd better make the best of it. All of the signs of the zodiac will be feeling the effects of this movement in some fashion or another, so don't think you're being picked on. Think of it as a great cosmic shakeup and you have to either sink or swim. So which is it, Gemini?

The people around you - family, friends, lovers - might be a bit startled by who you are turning into during February. You certainly don't want to alienate yourself from the people in your life, but you don't want them to stop you or slow you down either. If you have the time (and they're willing to listen), sit them down and explain that you're trying to make some changes with the ways you've been doing things. It doesn't have to be a crazy, ambitious plan at this point. You just need to let these people know where your priorities are right now. You'll probably find a lot of support from them after doing this. In fact, see whose face lights up the most when you tell your story. That's the person you are going to pick as your gym buddy, your spotter, your backup through this whole enterprise. Why? Well, you've inspired them and they're going to want to start to make changes in their own lives. Work together when you can. Work like this is easier with a friend.

That full moon on the 21st is also going to be shaking things up in your world, Gemini. Again, everyone is going to be affected by this and certainly a full moon is nothing new. But it's going to be crossing over a lot of different houses in an unusual pattern, causing a ripple effect across everyone on the planet. You, however, are in the perfect spot to take advantage of those energies. You are like a giant solar (lunar?) panel waiting for a moment like this. You just have to hold that panel steady and at the right angle to take advantage of the time.

So before the 21st, you're going to do a lot of homework regarding your job and future career directions. Let the first week of February be the time you make a plan for what you want to do with your life. That's right: the whole rest of your life. No more dilly-dallying. You need to start in some sort of direction for where you want your time on this planet to go. This might take some real soul searching, but we're giving you only the first week of the month. Make some decisions NOW. And of course, if you find as time goes on that these aren't quite right, you'll make course corrections. But for now, you need to simply decide.

By the time it gets to the 21st, you should have jostled yourself enough to feel that change is in the air. You might not have quit your job by then (or maybe you have) or enrolled in school (or maybe you have), but you can feel the momentum at this point. Lean into it fully.
