February 2020 Monthly Horoscope for Libra

There's no other way to put this, Libra: February is when we're going to put you to work. Or rather, the universe is going to do a fine job of putting you to work. You're going to be very busy, cramming as much as you can into the shortest month of the year (even with that extra leap year-added day). This will all pay off for you in the long run, though, as you'll be putting some lingering things to rest and planting the seeds for future efforts. There's a lot in store for you, so let's get started.

The stars will be making you jump without time to ask "how high?". You'll be getting a number of demands from a certain red planet in the sky. Mars is going to have a huge influence on you this month as it's becoming a houseguest of the house of Capricorn around the 16th. This is going to mean a lot of power and inspiration for you, Libra, coming in the form of those demands. Mars wants you to strive to be the absolute best Libra you can possibly be, even if that takes you to the brink (and just to the brink) of exhaustion. Luckily the power and inspiration he brings will give you the jolt you'll need to keep going. Mars is like a benevolent football coach shouting at you from the sidelines. You'll hate him for it and you're going through agonizing pain, but you also know he's doing it to pull the very best out of you and to get you winning your game. Just like you're going to love that coach, you're going to love that red planet. Just picture it with a cap and whistle around its equator.

It's time for you to crank things up at your job. Even if you've been working yourself to the bone and staying there all hours, you need to level up. This doesn't mean working harder, but it does mean working smarter. Take a good look to see what's necessary for you to get a promotion, move out of there to somewhere better, or just find yourself in a better role. That working yourself to the bone might have seemed like the right answer, but are you spinning your wheels? Be smarter about it. Make plans for some sort of change around the 19th or so. Plan accordingly before then and get yourself in a better place. If that means a different job, start that process now. Time's a wasting.

The people around you have been waiting a while for a bit more attention from you. Sure, you might have been there physically, but it's been clear for a while that you're checked out, mind drifting off to somewhere else. No more, Libra. This is the month in which you make sure to take the time with the people who are important to you. Call up that friend you haven't spoken to in ages, send an updating email to your cousins, plan a regular date night with your partnerвЂ¦ whatever you need to do to check-in and assure those people close to you that: you're there.

Off the couch, Libra. We know it's winter and it's cold and blah blah blah. You've got some outdoor work to do. Even if you keep a pretty fit lifestyle, you've fallen into a pattern with it and it's time to shake that pattern. Get yourself up and shovelling, or go for a walk around your neighborhood, or (even better) schedule yourself some more gym time. Whatever it takes for you to alter your bodily rhythms some. The 12th is a peak time for shaking things up, so schedule something difficult physically at this time.

Sorry for all the tough love, Libra, but you wouldn't be getting it if the universe didn't love you most of all. The stars know that you're ready for the hard stuff and a bit of an ass-kicking and it wants what's best for you. Don't worry, though. The spring is going to be a lengthy period of rest and relaxation for you to slowly grow into what you're becoming. Keep your eye on that prize to get through this month.
