It’s never been easy to get to know you, Scorpio. You’ve always managed to hold people at a slight distance, even when you’ve seemingly let them into your life. That’s a classic defensive move and no one could blame you for that. Life is hard and sometimes we just need to protect ourselves. So don’t think for a moment that we’re going to want you to stop that. No way. But what you are going to need to do in this coming year is be a bit more thoughtful about those defenses and question your motivations for them. You will no doubt find that there are some occasions when you’ll want to lower them just a little and, yes, maybe let people in.

This is going to come up for a question right away in January 2021 for you. You’re going to encounter one or two new people that will want to get to know you better. It’s okay, Scorpio. You can trust them. As always, keep your eyes open and be smart about what you let them into, but it’s worth your assuming, if not the best, then certainly not the worst about them. Let’s put it this way: assume the “means no harm” -est about them. They will have some interesting opportunities for you that will bear fruit later in the year. Although those opportunities are probably not romance oriented (but who knows?), they will lead you to other interesting social situations.

Spring usually means romance for most people, and it’s no different for you, Scorpio. It might not be eyes locking across the room with hearts swirling around your head, but you’re certainly going to be struck by someone in early March. Unfortunately, it’s going to take them a little bit longer for them to take notice of you. Don’t worry though: they will. It’s hard for anyone to avoid your charms.

There’s going to be someone entering your world in October that’s going to really throw you for a loop. This person won’t be a total stranger but they won’t be in your usual orbit of friends. An acquaintance, if you will. Don’t worry, you’ll know exactly who this person is when they arrive because you’ll be flabbergasted. This might not be a romantic connection per se, but it will be a significant one that you feel in your bones. Take notice of who this person is and how they affect you. This is going to shape the way you are for the rest of the year going into 2022. It’s more important in this instance how you’re feeling versus who this person is, so that’s why we’re keeping that part vague. Look for a significant event with them on or around the 3rd of November. Again, it might not be a romantic interlude, but it is going to be a connection that will change your destiny. Remember that you have Neptune at your back during all of this.

You’ll be a changed person by December, Scorpio. Your defenses will still be there and you’ll be as protected as ever, not to worry. But you’re going to emerge changed after having let some people in just a little bit. You’ll have seen that not every person is a threat to you and that most people in your orbit mean you no hard. Of course, it’s always good to have defenses and to protect yourself. No one should ever persuade you otherwise. Hopefully, you can proceed into next year and beyond a little calmer and less tense with more people standing beside you.
