Money Horoscope 2023

Whenever we aim to investigate and forecast the world's current economic condition in Astrology, we usually turn to Taurus. This sign is closely tied to money, finances and any other type of transferrable resources that can be found on earth. For the sake of transparency, it's essential to be realistic, and truth be told, this particular sign has been struggling to carry out its abundant natural significations for the past few years. The good news is that in 2023 this is about to change to some degree since Saturn, the planet of barriers and limitations, will move away from its square to the sign. This is rather beneficial because the square tends to be an aspect that brings tension and strain, and when Saturn is involved in such an aspect, we're sure to expect themes of lack and even depression to be prevalent.

With that said, 2023 is likely to be a step towards more abundant times, though I would be hesitant to say that this will be very noticeable immediately. Especially since Saturn will only officially change signs in early March.

When a planet leaves a square aspect, it progresses to enter a sextile. The sextile is much more harmonious than the former, but it's notoriously subtle, meaning that while things might be a little better, they can quickly be taken for granted. One of the ways this aspect can manifest itself is through limited growth. Some fields might have a better time than others, and with Saturn's sextile happening while the planet transit through Pisces, one of the fields we can expect to be more abundant is that of the arts, media, and recreational substances.

This should come as no surprise since this year is likely to be the first real step towards recovery from an economic crisis. Whenever people have more money and more free time to spend, they're likely to seek entertainment, especially if the general populous has spent a relatively long time worrying about the future. As unfortunate as it may be, escapism is almost always profitable.

Though, Saturn is not the only one to blame for the incoming progress. In 2023 we also have Jupiter, the planet of abundance entering Taurus, where he'll share the space with Uranus (the planet of innovation), who's already been in the sign for the last three years or so. Although many of the Uranian innovations were occasionally hindered by the Saturnian square mentioned above.

However, now that Jupiter is the one coming into the picture, we can expect many of the advancements that have been in the backburner or cancelled altogether to resurface at an unprecedented rate. This can point towards an excellent time for investors. Still, one thing to keep in mind is that Jupiter in Taurus also points towards lavish consumerism, which is ideal for business owners, but not so much for your own pocket, so be wise with your savings. This is especially true when considering that Jupiter will only be entering the sign in May—around the northern summertime. This all points toward good times, but be wise about it.

With all that in mind, 2023 seems like the dreamland we've all been waiting for. There's a lot of room for the economy to improve, but the great weight of frivolous spending comes with that. Even if Saturn is out of the way, we have to remember that the ringed planet usually brings difficulties in the name of great lessons. For the past few years, we've been diving deep on a crash course on insufficiency, so let us not forget about the things we learned. It's also important to remember that life is cyclical, and times of financial distress are always bound to make a comeback at some point. So use this time to save and invest for the future, not just spend all your money away on things that might be exciting but ultimately unnecessary.
