Fire Signs

The 3 Fire Signs are in trine aspect to one another forming a triangle like the other triplicate element signs. Aries is a Cardinal Fire sign and the first in the zodiac circle. The other Fire signs are Leo who is fixed and Sagittarius who is mutable. All Fire inspired people are believed to be energetic, enthusiastic and a little impulsive in their actions and thoughts. These signs stand for energy, light and amplification and this is added to any area of a chart. In the majority of cases the Fire signs will occupy the 1st, 5th and 9th houses.

First House

Many Astrologists believe that the First House in a birth chart is the most significant and revealing of all the houses. The Fixed Houses in Astrology are simple to remember as they are ruled by the Fixed signs of the zodiac, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. They are the 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th houses situated in a horoscope chart. Fixed Houses are sometimes also referred to as Succedent Houses in astrological study and like their name they are stable and established. They have a strong resistance to influence and change. The 5th house signifies romance and the 2nd and 8th houses concern possessions. The eleventh house focuses on a person's friends and also their desires.

Fortuna

Fortuna was the name given to the Roman Goddess of Fortune and she was often depicted as carrying a cornucopia. She was regarded as being the bearer of an abundance of luck and delivering an aura of well-being. In Astrology terms Fortuna is a point that has an equal rising degree that the Moon has to the Sun. As its name suggests this is a fortunate position that can contribute to the continued welfare of an individual.
