Hyleg

Hyleg is in Astrology the planet or location that is considered the giver of life. This concept and possibly the name stems from the ancient Arabians. They appointed the presence of a Hyleg, the Sun or the Moon, to represent vitality and good health. A Hyleg occurs when the ascendent is in a position between either five degrees above or 25 degrees beneath an ascending degree. Hyleg is said to be attuned best to the triplicity of Earth signs. It is often seen in the 7th and 10th houses and can signify a person's life purpose and also any challenges that they may encounter.
