Born in Hauts-de-Seine, France, Lambert Wilson was born on August 3, 1958. He is a French actor known for his work in Of Gods and Men in 2010, Babylon A.D. in 2008 and Catwoman in 2004. He is a French citizen and has been in artsy Calvin Klein ads for Eternity perfume in 1991 and 1998. He sang in La Nuit Americaine in Paris and is a baritone.
He has released two albums that were successful: Musicals and Demon e & Merveilles. Wilson attended London's Drama Centre, but left before graduating to make a theatrical debut in Paris. He performs on stage in English and French and was in A Little Night Music with Judi Dench in 1996. Wilson has stared in Sahara with Brooke Shields and in Sahara with Matthew McConaughey in 2005. Wilson was in Candid that played at LaScala in 2007. Wilson directs stage presentation and these include Les Caprices de Marianne and Berenice. In 2012 Wilson was a member of the main competition jury at the 2012 International Film Festival of Marrakech. He was invited by the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti in 2013 to help with environmental and cultural programs.
