Happy go-lucky Adam Sandler was born September 9, 1966 in Brooklyn New York. He is an American actor, comedian and musician. Sandler paid his way through New York University by performing in clubs. He was offered the part of Smitty on The Cosby Show in 1984 and was discovered by Dennis Miller at a comedy club in Los Angeles. Sandler was cast as a regular on Saturday Night Live (1975) and with his natural comedic style Sandler moved on to film comedies. Airheads (1994), Happy Gilmore (1996) Billy Madison (1995) and Big Daddy (1999) are his 1990 hits. He starred in Mr. Deeds (2002), Eight Crazy Nights (2002) and Punch-Drunk Love (2002).
Sandler writes and produces many of his own movies and composes songs for these same movies. He wrote, acted and produced The Wedding Singer in 1998. In 1999 Happy Madison Productions was formed by Sandler. He produced Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Punch-Drunk Love, Spanglish and Funny People. Further film produced and acted in by Sandler include Happy Gilmore, Little Nikky, Anger Management, and You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
In 2003 Adam Sandler married Jacqueline Titone. They have two daughters. They usually live in Los Angeles and have homes in New York City and Florida.
