Brigitte Fossey

Beginning her career as a child star, Brigitte Fossey was born in Nord, France on June 15, 1946. Her debut was in Forbidden Games in 1952. Fossey left acting a few years later and went to a normal public school. She had a standard upbringing and a brief career as a translator and interpreter. She returned to film and played in European movies including The Man Who Loved Women in 1977 and Chanel Solitaire in 1981. Fossey played Paul Newman's wife in Quintet in 1979. She was a member of the Berlin International Film Festival Jury in 1982. The 1990s were the television era for Fossey.
Fossey was nominated for a Cesar ward for Le Bon et les merhants in 1977 and again in 1978 she was nominated for Les Enfants du placard.
She was married to Jean-Francois Adam from 1966 until his death in 1980. They had one child.
