Born in London in the 1960s Andrew Lewis Taylor is a British musician. He began his career it he music business routing with Edgar Broughton Bank. In 1986 he performed as Sheriff Jack and released two albums of psychedelic music. One is Laugh Yourself Awake in 1986 and What Lovely Melodies in 1987. He changed his name back to Lewis Taylor and released Lewis Taylor in 1996. His songs Bittersweet and Lucky were released as singles.
He retired from making music in 2006 and changed his name to Andrew Taylor. He is highly active in the music industry and is the musical director for Gnarls Barkley and back up vocalist for the Edgar Broughton Band as well as The Drivers.
Taylor released The Last Holiday sound tract. In 2011 Taylor and Deborah Bond sang a duet and released Madam Palindrome, and in 2012 he was featured on The Vicar with the songs The Girl with the Sunshine in Her Eyes and That Boy's Not Cool.
