Boris Becker, tennis superstar was born November 22, 1967 and his hometown is Leimen in West Germany. Becker powered into the Wimbledon championship when he was only 17 in 1985. He won five more Grand Slam competitions in his career. Boris is a true Sagittarius and continues, after retirement, to cause controversy, play poker, and dabble in tennis.
Becker has a monster serve and throws his body all over the court. He won at Wimbledon the year he was 18 with an awesome game over Ivan Lendl. Boris lost to Stefan Edberg in the finals of 1988 but triumphed again in 1989. In his career, Becker was the ultimate winner in 22 consecutive Davis Cup singles matches. He won the ATP World Championship a couple of times and was awarded an Olympic gold medal in 1992.
In announced his retirement in 1999 and finished with a career record of 71-12 at the All-England Club. He won 49 career singles titles, 15 doubles titles and has earned over $25 million. Becker was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2003. He was found guilty of tax evasion in 2002, and in his autobiography The Player he acknowledged his addiction to sleeping pills. Becker has one child born to a waitress in a one-night stand. He married in 2009 Dutch model Sharlely Kerssenberg and is forming the International Premier Tennis League.
