Stage and television actress Calista Kay Flockhart was bone on November 11, 1964 in Freeport Illinois. He enrolled in Rutgers University in New Jersey to study acting and after graduation she work in theater in Cleveland, Houston and Louisville. Her first Broadway role was in The Glass Menagerie and she was awarded with the Theater World and Clarence Darwent recognition.
Flockhart has also appeared in The Three Sisters (play) before becoming Ally on Ally McBeal in 1997. She also worked on Lifestories: Families in Crisis in 1992 and was in the remake of The Birdcage in 1996. She also appeared in Telling Lies in America in 1997.
Flockhart worked in off-Broadway productions of The Loop, All For one and Bovver Boys. She also worked in Chicago in Our Town and Death Takes a Holiday.
Calista is very thin, but her thinness is not due to bulimia. On Valentine's Day in 2009 Flockhart became engaged to Harrison Ford and they married in 2010. They have one child.
Flockhart is a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Commission on Assaults against Women and was presented with a Humanitarian Award in 2005. Flockhart has also played in the ABC family drama, Brothers & Sisters in 2006 with Sally Field.
