Jack Nicholson

John Joseph Nicholson is a three time Academy award winner and a 12-time nominee for his acting, producing and screenwriting. He is one of two actors who have received Oscar nods in every decade. Nicholson was born on April 22, 1937 in New York. His sign is that of Aries who are people driven for a cause, commanding and very explicit. Nicholson's first film debut was in The Cry Baby Killer (1958). Nicholson director's premier was in Drive, He Said. Nicholson wrote the screen play for The Trip in 1967.

Nicholson received an Oscar nomination for Easy Rider (1969) and in 1975 he won the Oscar for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). In the 1980s Nicholson play Jack Torrance in The Shining (1980). He then portrayed characters in Terms of Endearment (second Oscar), Prizzi's Honor (1985) and the Witches of Eastwick(1987). He was the Joker in Batman (1989) and he was nominated for another Oscar in 1992 for A Few Good Men.

The 1990s were very busy for Nicholson and he won an Oscar for As Good as it Gets (1997). Nicholson was awesome in The Bucket List. He has won the American Film Institute's life Achievement award as well as a Kennedy Center Honor in 2001.

Nicholson has five children and has had relationships with Sandra Knight, Winnie Hollman, Rebecca Broussard and Anjelica Huston.

Nicholson is characterized by his dark sunglasses, shark's grin, and his work as a character with mental instabilities. He is very good at method acting and often plays charming but anti-authoritarian characters. Nichols is tied with Walter Brennan and Daniel Day-Lewis for the most Oscar wins.
