Born March 9, 1964 in Paris, France Juliette Binoche's parents were involved in acting and sculpting. At the age of 23, Juliette's acting in The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) brought her rave reviews. Three more films followed with Damage in 1992, Three Colors: Blue in 1993 and the French movie The Horseman on the Roof in 1995.
Juliette won an Oscar for best supporting actress for The English Patient in 1996 and she is wonderful in Chocolat in 2000. Juliette also performed in the stage play Naked (1998) in London and has been listed as the uppermost paid French actress in history. Juliette is also a model and the spokeswomen of Lanc?me perfume "Poeme" (1995-2000) and in 2003 Juliette became the presence for Italian Pret-a-Porter.
As a successful artist, Juliette designed posters for The Lovers on the Bridge, The Children of the Century and In My Country (2004). Juliette was also artfully arrange in the November 2007 French edition of Playboy. Juliette has also been award Best Actress at Cannes, Berlin and Venice film festivals for The English Patient, Three Colors: Blue and Copie Conforme.
Juliette has never been married but her children include Raphael (Andre Halle) and Hannah (Benoit Magimel).
