Vincent Perez

Sexy and charming Vincent Perez was born on June 10, 1964 in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has played in the tradition theater Paris Conseratorie and L'Ecole des Amandiers in Shakespeare to Chekhov. He became a romantic idol in the film Idochine in 1992. His defining role was in Cyrano de Bergerac in 1990 opposite Gerard Depardieu. His European success was assured and he made his American film beginning in The Crow: City of Angels in 1996. He was a bit on the dull side and American's have not embraced his charm and good looks. He played in I Dreamed of Africa in 2002, Bride of the Wind in 2001 and Queen of the Damned in 2002.
Perez is the product of a German mother and a Spanish father. He attended school in Geneva and trained to be a sculptor. He has Swiss and Spanish citizenship and one of his good friends is Penelope Cruz. Perez was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in its 1995 edition. Perez is married to Karina Silla a former model and actress and they have three children. Perez is also stepfather to Silla's daughter by Gerard Depardieu.
