Chris Evert was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 21, 1954. Chris Evert still reigns as the youngest tennis participant to reach the U.S. Championship tennis semi-finals (age 16). Chris has won the U.S. Open women's singles title six times and has prevailed at Wimbledon, the French Open, and the Australian Open singles. She has a total of 18 titles. Chris was the #1 tennis player in the world for seven consecutive years. Her career includes winning the U.S. Open women's singles in 1975, 1978, 1980 and 1982. She won the Wimbledon singles in 1975, 1976 and 1981. The French Open was Chris's in 1974, 1975, 1979, 1980 and 1983 plus 1985 and 1986. She also won the Australian Open singles in 1982, and 1984. Chris retired from tennis in 1989.
Chris was married to John Lloyd in 1979 and divorced him in 1987. Chris and Andy Mill, an Olympic skier, married in 1988 have three sons. Mill and Chris split in 2006. Chris and Greg Norman (pro golfer) were married in 2008. They were only married for one year.
