Jacqueline Bisset

On September 13, 1944 Winifred Jacqueline Fraser-Bisset was born in Surrey, England. She became an international film star and received roles due to her beauty. She is also a talented actress and worked with John, Huston, George Cukor and Roman Polanski.
She became a model to support her ailing mother and used her modeling career to pay for acting lessons. In 1967 Bisset caught the eye of Hollywood in Two for the Road then in Casino Royale. In 1968 she was in The Detective and with Steve McQueen in the film Bullitt. In 197 she was recognized as a serious actress when she received the lead in Day for Night.
In 1977 Bisset played in The Deep and her underwater swimming scenes inspired the wet T-shirt craze. She became recognized by Americans in Rich and Famous in 1981 and Bisset received Golden Globe nomination for Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe in 1978 and Under the Volcano in 1984. In 1996 La Ceremonie gave her a Cesar award nomination.
Bisset has never married but has had long-term romantic relationships. She continues to make films and in 2013 won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She won for her portrayal in Dancing on the Edge. Bisset gave the strangest speech in the history of the Golden Globes and shocked Hollywood.
