Katarina Witt

Katarina was born on December 3, 1965 in East Berlin, Germany. She is known as an ice diva and produced Jerry Maguire in 1996, Divas on Ice in 2003 and Divas on Ice in 2001.
Katarina posed nude for the December 1998 issue of Playboy which quickly sold out. She was first known as an Olympic figure skating champion in the ladies' singles event in both 1984 and 1998. Katarina was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1995 and made a one year comeback to appear at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. She finished 7th. Katarina has been called the most beautiful face of socialism. She appears in the infomercial Leg Magic fitness equipment. She won an Emmy in 1990 for her role in Carmen on Ice and made Ronin in 1998 with Robert DeNiro.
Katarina published an autobiography Only with Passion and formed the Katarina Witt Foundation that provides aid for disabled children. Her final professional performance was in 2008. She does continue to mentor other skating hopefuls.
