Counting the houses by placing the house ruling a Horary question on the Ascendant (1st house) and the other houses then numbered in order. Also called Turning the Chart. In a horary question such as "When will my sister get better," the 3rd house of the radix chart becomes the 1st house of the sister. The radix 4th becomes the sister's 2nd, etc. In a child's natal chart, information about a 10th house parent's job is read from the 7th house, which is ten houses counterclockwise from the 10th house in the child's chart.
