Heliacal Rising

First visibility. At its heliacal rising, the planet appears momentarily on the eastern horizon just ahead of the Sun; i.e., it rises in the morning sky "with the Sun" (= "heliacal"), just before sunrise, at which time it lapses into invisibility again.
