The conjunction - 0 degrees (technically speaking, the conjunction is not an angular aspect between planets, but it is most often referred to as an aspect), sextile - 60 degrees, square - 90 degrees, trine - 120 degrees, and opposition - 180 degrees. Various astrologers use other aspects, most commonly the half division multiples of the square, the semisquare and sesquiquadrate. Astrologers are in general agreement that the closer the aspect to being exact, the stronger the influence. For example, a sesquiquadrate between two strong planets, within 3 arc-minutes of exact, would carry the weight of a major aspect.
