The point at which the Meridian and the Ecliptic intersect at any given time, due South of the location for which a horoscope chart is cast. Also, where the Sun is at Noon local mean time. The point of culmination of the Sun. The highest point on the Ecliptic where it intersects the meridian. The MC should not be confused with the zenith, which is the point directly above the observer. The MC is the cusp of the tenth house in most house systems.
