Tarot

A form of divination using a set of cards (usually 76) , of which 22, called the Greater Arcana, bear emblematic images that have been related in modern magic to the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Many pagan writers claim an Egyptian origin for the tarot, but it appears to have originated in Italy around the 15th century.
