Ceres moves direct November 6th, 2011- It has been retrograde since July 26th, 2011. What is Ceres you say? It is a dwarf planet that is part of the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and orbits the Sun every 4.6 years. It was discovered on January 1st, 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi, who founded the Observatory of Palermo.
