I just had a dream that I woke up and had forgotten 5 years, and within those five years I had gotten married (to someone I don’t know in real life, ) and had a child with them. Throughout the dream I started having flashbacks to times with my “husband”, like meeting him and what not. It was a really interesting dream.

I had a dream where I woke up as a kid without any memories and I couldn’t remember anyone. I woke up outside of my cousins house and I had no idea where I was. My family started coming up to me and telling to get ready for the church I used to attend since my uncle was a pastor there but I never really believed in god or that kind of thing. I remember getting to the church and seeing a bunch of people outside and talking, not recognizing anyone except an old classmate I had who I haven’t seen if spoken to in months but I never had the chance to talk to them and they have never been to church with me before. I tried to give some excuse and left the church in a hurry and just trying to run away from all the people who I was supposed to know and who were my family before waking up in a cold sweat.

Whoah.. Saddest dream I ever had. I thought to myself that this is what my grandfather with Alzheimer's must have felt like.... on one hand a constant daze of not knowing where I was but then on the other this nagging feeling that I am forgetting something... everyone was being so nice to me but they kept wanting me to give specifics about my location or control me. I was lost around something like the same neighborhood my grandparents lived in. It might have been better if I knew I did have a memory problem..Instead I kept asking myself if this was real, if Incould trust the people around me, even the really nice ones. I woke up thinking about Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie shutter island when he went crazy for having witnessed his wife kill their children. Okay sorry this is so friggin creepy! Creeped myself out. Lol. Really this does make me sad since Inhave felt my life is out of control lately, moving a lot every year, and I want to speak with someone about how to address the anxiety I feel which has been similar to the experience of losing your memory.

I had a dream I was in someone's house I did t know who they where and how I got there. The family I was at there house told me my friends left I said what friends and how did I get here .they said they brought me I said I don't know anyone I said I need to go home can I call my mom .they asked me where do you live I said I live in wherever I told them I said I lived in town where they lived same one.they said honey you're in a totally different state you can spend the knight so I felt funny about it so I said OK.so day time came they said get ready we are taking you home I said OK .then as soon as I saw the town I lived in I said OK now you can let me off here I know where to go home from here they let me off and they left .then I got off too soon I still didn't make it home I was still in the wrong state I was lost .then I woke up

Had a dream I was walking dogs and people started talking to me like they knew me and I didn't remember them. And eventually I told them I didn't remember none of them and I was married and had a good life but I didn't remember any of it. They where telling me everything. Just very weird. I've never dreamed this before

This makes perfect sense if you have a memory you want to suppress or are struggling to hold on to old memories. However I have been having dream where I lose time or have amnesia for months now and I can't think of anything I am trying to 'forget' about. I have a very fortunate life and generally everything has always been good, sure there has been some crap here and there but nothing serious. The dreams are always really scary and vivid and are often combined with not having proper control of my senses, I feel like I have been blackout drunk and forgotten everything. I would love to know what is going on inside my head as the dreams are horrible!!

I had a dream that I had some type of brain damage and I could not remember who anyone was even my own husband. It was very disturbing especially with the inability to talk and being confused about everything.
