When you see yourself yelling at someone or scolding someone else in your dream, and you know that person in real life, it usually means that you have an unresolved conflict with them that you can't wrap your head around for whatever reason. You are intensely angry with them and haven't been able to take the situation out of your mind. For some people this is a wakeup call that they need to reach a resolution. Not only does anger make you worse at handling the particular situation that made you angry in the first place, it also makes you just generally worse at handling situations across the board. If you want your life to get back into working order, just make sure that you can resolve things with this person that you are feuding with.
When you are angry at someone in your dreams that you do not have a feud with in your waking life then unfortunately, as strange as it may sound, it is usually still an indicator that you are angry at them for some reason. This is always a strange thing that your subconscious does. Even when you do not notice that you are angry, your subconscious picks up on subtle cues that incite you to rage, and then reminds you of them later. Therefore if you do have dreams where you are angry with someone that you wouldn't normally be angry with, then just remember that you might need to try and talk to them about it later. After all, there was obviously some reason why you were made angry by them or your mind wouldn't be so preoccupied with them in the dream world. Talk it over and see what you can come up with. You may be surprised.
When you are angry in your dreams but are not taking it out on anyone in particular, or when you are angry for no particular reason at someone that you do not recognize in your dream, this usually means that you are having anger issues in your waking life. Have you been overly stressed out over something recently or have you been snapping at people for no good reason. This might be a sign that you need to calm down and take a chill pill. Anger is known for being a notoriously unproductive emotion. It is hard for you to get anything done when you are angry. Another danger of this though is medical. People that are angry often for no reason have high blood pressure that goes along with this. You should see a doctor to make sure if your anger does not go away soon. You can never be too careful once you have dreams where you are unnecessarily angry. Remember all the health risks, and also remember the social risks. Don't allow yourself to ruin your relationships with friends and family just because you can't control your anger.
When anger roils in the theater of your dreams, it takes center stage with a dramatic flair, spotlighting deep-seated anxieties and tensions. This powerful emotion, when unleashed in dreams, often preludes a period of challenges that may soon headline your waking life. As if the subconscious is bracing you for an oncoming storm, anger in dreams warns of potential trials—courtroom dramas of the psyche where disappointments or betrayals may be the plaintiff, and you the defendant.
But anger's performance is not one-dimensional. To dream that loved ones direct their ire towards you, while you respond with level-headed tranquility, this intricate dance suggests that you possess the diplomatic finesse to quell real-life conflicts. You are the peacemaker, the bridge over troubled waters, who can defuse tension with poise, earning the admiration, gratitude, and lasting trust of those around you.
If enemies are casting shadows with their resentment, threatening the tranquility of your property or character, consider it a metaphorical call to arms to protect what is rightfully yours and to reinforce your boundaries against external assaults.
Example of a Typical Dream with Anger: You find yourself amidst a raging argument at a family dinner, the air crackling with hostility. Every relative's face twisted in anger, except for yours; you are calm, a beacon of serenity. Your composed words turn the tide, knitting together the frayed ends of familial bonds.
This dream might be interpreted as a reflection of your conflict resolution skills. It suggests that despite potential strife or dissatisfaction within your circle, you possess the emotional intelligence to navigate through the storm, restore peace, and in doing so, strengthen the ties that bind. You embody resilience and the capacity to transform moments of discord into opportunities for reconciliation and deeper connection.

I had a dream that I was yelling my best friend who I’m no longer friends with because she was basically manipulating everybody that we knew into telling them that I’m a bad person that I brainwashed them when really she’s the cause of all the drama and she looks for drama to cause as if her life isn’t full of it already. this took place at school of all places but it was in our old high school and I’m a sophomore in college. so later on in the dream I get in trouble for yelling and swearing at her and calling her names and then when the teacher told me to go to detention I said “no because I am an adult I can do what I want, i can leave right now if i wanted to”. I wasn’t really just taking my anger out on my old friend because when I got to detention, I was writing on the board my old friend‘s name and calling her names on the board. once I actually entered the classroom I was very frustrated and it had furious tears in my eyes because she should be the one to get in trouble and not me. eventually some random person in the classroom also took a video of my words on the board and I slammed her phone down and yelled at her and swore at her. I have no idea why I was so angry but I haven’t talk to my old friend in over six months after I cut her out of my life for being a narcissistic two-faced liar so I don’t understand why she’s coming back in my dreams because right now she’s telling everybody that I brainwash them when really she’s just a spoiled only child who can’t get a relationship to save her life therefore she has to try and ruin her best friends happy relationship (which i’m still in 😌). I don’t really care for her anymore I just know that I’m going to achieve much bigger and better things than she will in life.

Dreams are complex and can be understood as the mind's way of processing emotions, experiences, and memories, both recent and distant. Your dream of conflict with a former friend suggests that there may be unresolved feelings and tensions regarding that past relationship. Here are some possible meanings behind the various elements of your dream:
1. High School Setting: Returning to the setting of your old high school may imply that there are unresolved issues from the past or that your subconscious associates that period with formative experiences regarding friendship and conflict. High school can also symbolize a time when social dynamics and peer opinions were particularly intense or influential.
2. Yelling and Anger: Such intense emotions in dreams often point to feelings that you haven't fully expressed or dealt with in your waking life. They can represent real frustration, betrayal, or injustice you feel about the situation with your former friend.
3. Authority Figures and Detention: The teacher assigning detention despite you identifying as an adult could reflect a feeling of unjust treatment or a lack of agency when it comes to how the fallout with your ex-friend has been perceived by others. It also highlights a tension between your youthful experiences and adult identity — you may feel that you've grown past high school dynamics, but they are somehow still affecting you.
4. Frustration and Injustice: The furious tears and frustration you felt in the dream when you believed your ex-friend should be the one in trouble represent a deep sense of injustice. This suggests that in your waking life, you might feel misunderstood or that the true story has not been recognized by others.
5. Being Recorded: The dream element of someone recording your actions and retaliating against it can indicate a fear of being watched, judged, or misunderstood by others, particularly in a public or communal setting like social media.
6. Reappearance of Your Ex-friend: Although you have cut ties with this person, the dream suggests their actions or the fallout from the relationship still weighs heavily on your mind. It is common for significant or emotional relationships, even when they're over, to leave a lasting impact that our minds need time to work through.
Overall, the dream seems to be a manifestation of your ongoing emotional processing of the end of an intense relationship. Despite being physically removed from the situation, the emotional remnants can linger and resurface, especially if there are unresolved feelings or if the person's actions continue to affect you or your reputation.

Every single night for the past 3 months my partner has pissed me off in my dreams. It’s always in different situations, but usually has something to do with him not listening to what I’m saying (ignoring/ talking over me like in one ear and out the other), or disregarding my emotions completely. This is not how he is at all in real life and we have a healthy amazing relationship so I don’t understand why him making me angry is a recurring thing in my dreams. Anyone know what it could mean?

I saw every reaction on his face and it was like I was in the backseat, watching. I am so confused. Can someone help me?

I think it means that you do not trust him completely in some way. He is contradicting him self in subtle ways your subconscionce is picking up on. Perhaps his words do not match his actions or you suspect he is different somehow while away from you. It could also indicate that you are ignoring signs that here are problems. Hope this helps.
