Children can mean a lot of different things symbolically speaking, Children are very small people but they also mean a lot to everyone. Children are known for being innocent and good. A child is the pinnacle of innocence in the best way possible. Children also represent all of those things that we wish to pass on. First of all we have children because of the innate desire within us to pass on our genetics and second of all we have children so that we can pass on our ideas and pass on our loves and hopes and dreams. If we are unable to accomplish certain things in our lives then we pass these things on to our kids and give the children the burden of dealing with them for us after we've gone and become useless.
If you have a dream in which you see children this means that you are thinking fondly about your childhood. You are imagining all of the important stuff that goes on during development and you are also thinking about all of those formative events that happened to you when you were in that age group that led you to become the person that you are today. This is what children are all about.
Sometimes when you dream about children it might just be because you are bored or you are feeling a little too adult lately. People spend a most of their time worrying about jobs and other responsibilities. In fact sometimes people spend so much time stressing out that they forget that they need to go out and play to get rid of some of that stress. Even though it might not seem like the right time for it, the fact is that you really need to go out and get something to do. You need to have some play time in order to remain sane. Even if it makes you feel childish, adults need time to play and have fun too.
If you have a dream in which you are a child then this means that you need to hearken back to your childhood. You want to be a child. You are thinking about your childhood and missing those times. If you have a dream in which you are talking to children it probably means that you have a strong desire to teach. This does not necessarily mean that you want to be a teacher or anything like that, but it does mean that you need to pass on some of your knowledge to someone that is younger than you.
It shouldn't be too hard to find a person in your family that is of a young age whom you can pass all of your information and all of your knowledge onto. All you need to do is spend a little more time with your family and do a bit more family work. Children are the future and the light of the world and it would behoove you to continue on your legacy.
Dreams that involve children can be as complex and layered as the laughter of little ones echoing through a playground. Engaging with this symbol through the lens of dream interpretation is akin to delving into a treasure trove of subconscious insights and emotional revelations. Viewing children in a dream often symbolizes innocence, pure potential, new beginnings, and a direct connection to parts of ourselves that may have been forgotten or neglected.
Children embody the untapped promise of life, where every possibility is yet to unfold, and the essence of human purity is at its most potent. When you dream of children, especially many beautiful ones, it may signal an impending wave of prosperity and joy washing over your life—a season of bountiful harvest in both the literal and metaphorical sense.
For a mother, to dream of her own child suffering from a minor ailment could represent the natural protective instinct and continual worry that accompanies parenthood. While her child may be in good health, the dream may signify that trivial concerns or challenges will soon demand her attention, echoing the parental tendency to guard against all adversities, no matter how small.
Dreams wherein children are engaged in work or study often speak to a period of calm and stability, suggesting that plans and projects will unfold as anticipated, without unforeseen interruptions. This serene vision embodies the diligence and focus one might be channeling into their own endeavors.
Conversely, to see your own child desperately ill or, even more distressingly, dead, in a dream, symbolizes deep-seated fears and uncertainties regarding their well-being. It's an emotional manifestation of the potential threats or dangers that one perceives in the environment, reflecting a state of heightened anxiety over the future success and safety of one's offspring.
In the case of dreaming about a deceased child, the symbolism extends beyond literal interpretation, often representing a period of grief or disappointment that the dreamer may be experiencing. It is a stark reminder of loss and the shadow it casts on the present.
Dreaming of disappointed children can indicate difficulties looming on the horizon, arising from those who might outwardly appear supportive but harbor ill intent. This scenario is symbolic of coming to terms with deception or betrayal from unexpected quarters.
An example of a typical dream with children might be finding yourself at a joyous birthday party, surrounded by gleeful children celebrating. The balloons are colorful, the cake is rich, and the laughter is infectious. In this dream, every child's happiness could be reflective of specific aspects of your life where you are—or soon will be—experiencing joy and satisfaction.
Interpreting this dream, the party could symbolize an upcoming period filled with delightful opportunities and personal achievements. Just as children rejoice in the simplest of pleasures, you might be encouraged to find contentment in the small victories and joys that life offers.
Another layer to this could be the symbolism of the birthday itself, which might signify personal growth or the anniversary of an important event that will soon bring good news or positive changes.
Dreams of children are not merely visions to be observed; they are whispers from our inner selves, urging us to foster the youthfulness within and reminding us to approach life with a childlike wonder that fills our moments with boundless joy and vibrant curiosity.

I was on my way to pick someone up (I don’t remember who) and when I arrived (the place looked like a football stadium) I didn’t see them so I shouted "fire" and started throwing bombs and my car turned into a weird vehicle like it was from star wars or something, it was flying, and then everyone started killing each other and my vehicle died so I was on the floor and suddenly there were only children left, all trying to kill each other. Then one kid approached me with two hammers and knocked me out and I woke up.

I had a dream where I was at some house and there were many children all around, who were like, 9-13 years old. I felt like they were my siblings but we didn't look related at all. (We were probably all adopted or something), anyway, they were all mean and rude and they were bullying me and I could've probably fought back (I'm 16) but my mind went to "no, don't be mean" so I just let them bully me and I tried walking away from them and some started kicking the back of my legs while others hit my back and they were cussing and calling me names and I tries to run from them a bit and they threw balloons at me at first then threw actual bouncing balls at me (the pretty big kind you'd find at a dollar store) and it hurt and I got emotional and then I managed to find an exit and was in the garage and a couple of adults were about to walk in the house and some really small conversation happened that isn't really important much (just something about me wanting to talk with the adult and my brother randomly appearing and telling me not to tell her so soon because the kids will get in trouble and probably hurt me even more) anyway, that happened and then I looked at my brother and his face was deforming and then a random guy who seemed 17 grabbed my arms and held them pretty tight looking at me and his face was deforming as well then everyone in the garage. They were all staring at me and I woke up hyperventilating a bit. Any one have similar things happen in their dream(s)?? Any ideas? I've been looking up stuff like "being bullied by children in dream" and junk like that (I'm probably looking/sounding a bit dumb to be honest for doing that-) But I was just curious and trying to see if there were any sort of meanings to being bullied, hit, and kicked by children and kids. Sorry this is so long and there's probably no meaning to this at all and it's probably just a dream but I'm still just curious.

I don't have children, but enjoy time with my little niece instead. A few nights ago, I had a dream that I was fussing over a blue eyed blonde haired baby boy. A woman approached me in this dream and said, "It's alright, you can pick him up. He's your son." I still think about that dream wondering what it means.

I had a dream about a past lover. Basically, after he left me for another woman I kept looking at his profile when I have the time and last three days ago, I stopped. And I had a dream about his account. His cover photo was he was alone (probably standing, I can't remember) and his profile picture were little children or babies. I know he likes children.
In reality, his cover photo and profile picture was with the woman.
I also tried dating someone again after seven months.

It is possible that she continued to show up in your dreams because your subconscious wants you to think about her. Pushing her from your thoughts may have caused you to become depressed, or lethargic. I hope all in your life is better now.
