As stated above, coffee is one of those things where you either love it or you hate it. There is no middle ground. Likewise it only makes sense that this kind of thing is what your dream will have to do with if you have been dreaming about coffee. Your dreams will have all kinds of different symbols though as well since no two dreams are the same and since coffee has so many other different meanings and uses. Coffee is a natural stimulant and the amount of caffeine will keep you awake and alert for hours. Coffee is also known for being only for people with refined palettes since it has such a bitter flavor.
What do any of these things have to do with dreams? Well for starters, coffee is a stimulant and will keep you awake. If you have a dream about coffee it just may be because you need a wake-up call in real life. There is something important that you need to pay attention to and without the help of coffee, you won't be able to. This does not mean that you literally need coffee or caffeine. This is more of a cautionary tale of what could happen if you don't start to pay attention and be more alert.
This is probably what this kind of dream is supposed to be about. It is a warning that you need to be more alert and pay more attention to your surroundings. This could mean you need to be more alert in a literal sense, where your brain is trying to tell you to stop wearing it out by staying up so late and waking up so early. Orit could also be a message that there are tons of things happening all around you that you are missing out on just because you're slogging through life instead of going through all of the necessary motions that you should have in order to keep awake, alert, and abreast of current events.
A dream in which you are drinking coffee could also mean that you have just gone through a bad experience which you are bitter about. In this case the coffee itself would be a poorly disguised metaphor for your actual feelings of bitterness about something that you've had to experience. Usually you will be having this kind of dream because of an actual experience that you've been forced to go through rather than one that you're experiencing by choice or something to that effect. You didn't choose to put yourself in this situation, but someone else put you here and it just isn't turning out how you'd have hoped. Try to make better choices in the future or try to avoid situation that you don't prosper in.
Coffee is all about get-up and go. It is a liquid that is designed to give you pep. Therefore if you have a dream where you are drinking a lot of coffee then it means that you need to continue being peppy and being a little more energetic with your life. Have a bit more energy and admit that you just need to go out and have a little bit more fun as well. Energy is always equal to fun and you will not regret going out more.
Dreams of coffee suggest social disapproval of relationship choices, marital discord, business difficulties, loss on sales, and reputation concerns. They also symbolize adversity, hostile intentions, and bold enemies.
Expanded Interpretation of the Coffee Dream Symbol: The dream symbol of coffee is often associated with social interaction, alertness, and the commencement of one's daily activities. However, within the world of dreams, coffee can take on more complex and nuanced meanings, often brewing with interpersonal and social implications.
When you dream of drinking coffee, this act could indicate a certain level of friction or opposition you're facing in your waking life, especially relating to your amorous affairs. If you're contemplating marriage or deeply involved in a relationship, such dreams might reflect the anxieties and pressures stemming from the disapproval of your friends or social circle. This could be a nudge from your subconscious to consider the influence of peer views on your romantic decisions.
For those already married, encountering coffee in a dream might suggest undercurrents of domestic discontent. This could manifest as minor irritations or deep-seated disagreements that arise frequently within your partnership. The presence of coffee in this context is evocative of the bitterness that may permeate these conflicts, offering a metaphor for the need to "wake up" to underlying issues that require attention.
Dreaming of dealing in coffee carries a distinct set of implications depending on whether you find yourself buying or selling. In the case of selling coffee, a symbolic transaction in the dream marketplace, you're cautioned about possible financial losses in your professional life. It suggests that your ventures may not yield the expected profits, and careful planning is needed to prevent shortfall. Conversely, buying coffee hints at a smoother path, suggesting that your financial credibility remains intact and that you are capable of managing your resources wisely to maintain your standing.
For a young woman, to see or handle coffee in her dreams can carry an admonishment about public perception and personal discretion. The dream warns of the potential for her actions to become the subject of gossip or judgment, urging careful consideration of how she presents herself to the world.
To dream of roasting coffee especially aligns with the notion of transformation. For the young woman in this scenario, it may signify the ability to avoid negative circumstances through fortuitous changes—in this case, marriage to someone unexpected or unfamiliar who provides an escape from potential trouble or ill will.
Dreams of ground coffee embody the idea of perseverance through hardship. It suggests that though conflicts may arise, success is attainable with effort and resilience. In contrast, parched coffee serves as an omen to be wary of untrustworthy individuals who may harbor ill intentions toward you.
Lastly, dreaming of green coffee could be a sign of overt hostilities you're facing. Enemies—or individuals with whom you have significant unresolved tensions—are likely to confront you openly, showing no intention of backing down. It’s a sign that you may be heading towards a direct confrontation where stakes are high, and preparedness is key.
Example of a Typical Dream with Coffee and Interpretation: Imagine you dream of sitting at a café, about to enjoy a cup of coffee, when the cup inexplicably cracks and the coffee spills out. This may suggest in your waking life that while your social engagements or current projects appear well-prepared, there could be unforeseen flaws or weaknesses that lead to mishaps. The broken cup symbolizes those potential failures and the spilling coffee warns of the mess that can follow. It may be a prompt to examine your plans, relationships, and the foundations on which they rest more closely to avoid disappointment or social spillage.

So I had a dream where I was I think a barista or just had access to an espresso machine. And in my dream I just kept making continuous cups of coffee over and over again and drank them every time. It tasted creamy and sweet which drew me back to it. And a day or two prior to my dream my friend of 6 years screwed me over.

In my dream, my X-partner asked me to make him a cup of coffee. He was lying on his back in a double sized bed, with his eyes fully shut. He didn't move his body, nor his mouth. He also requested that I get him a pillow. He was already resting his head upon two pillows, and there was another two besides him. He could have quite easily got the pillow for himself - his behaviour made me feel as though he were treating me as though, iwas his personal servant. The coffee was milky, pleasantly warm and looked and smelt good. All I can remember is handing it to him. I've no recollection of making it, or walking towards the bed with it. Also I don't actually recall her taking the cup from me. When I gave him the pillow, I had to lift his head so tht I could put the pillow on top of the two he was already resting on. Throughout the entire interaction, if one can call it that, he didn't open his eyes or mouth. He used some type of telepathy.
In his hallway, which was medium brown wood-effect flooring, there was a huge mound of cycling gloves, the cotton crotchetted and leather variety, these are a favourite of mine, one of my hobbies is cycling, and I own two pairs of this variety in realife.
As I exclaimed abt the huge mound and how wonderful the colors were, a cheerful young man suddenly walked by and said something tht I don't remember. Then an older man with short hair appeared and said, 'is he your partner?, and I said; no, not anymore - but were still friends. I also noticed a single bed that looked as though someone had just gotten out of it, I think it had a pink fitted sheet, and the bedding had been pulled aside to make a triangle. There was also a thick red fur effect Throw/bedspread, which had been placed near two of my X's red woollen Indian rugs. The red Throw looked like one I own in realife, but it's a different color. The throw had a wet patch on it, abt a foot an a quarter in diameter.
The gloves salesman, gave me an odd corny, I feel sorry for you look, when I said me and my X was still friends, like in his opinion it didn't bode well. Funnily enough I felt the same way too, the moment I said, 'but we are still friends'. Because in real-life we did, or I did enjoy a brief halcyon spell, in which I thought we were starting anew, an getting along pretty well as friends, although obviously it was early days, and I stil encountered the odd hiccup with my X.
My realife cycling gloves appeared in the dream, but the three crocheted stripes, were lightish blue, medium green and white, the leather part which forms the underside of the gloves was purple, in realife the palm bit only comes in white.
