The crow is a highly symbolic creature. It is known for being representative of death and of pestilence. Crows are sometimes lumped with pigeons into the idea of being the rats of the sky. People simply do not want crows around. However, if you are around a lot of crows and this is the reason why you are dreaming of crows then the secondary thing about the crows is that they are flying creatures and dreamt hat have to do with flight always have a bit of significance to them.
If you have a dream in which you see a crow it is because you are about to experience death or because you have just gone through a death. Of course this does not mean that you are going to go through death personally. It means that you will be affected by the death of someone close to you and it will hit home pretty hard. You are going to need to learn to accept death and to accept the idea of one of your loved ones being gone forever. It might sound like it is tough to handle, but this is just a warning for what will happen in the future. You may end up having a loved one of yours die and being unable to prevent it.
The other thing that crows represent is pestilence. Pestilence in the old school days was used to refer to as a biblical plague where locusts would come through in swarms and eat all of the crops, thereby ensuring the death of all of the people that sinned. Today pestilence might mean the same thing if you are a farmer. For those that do not have their own plots of land out on the range though, it basically just means that you are going to go through a series of tough trials and experiences which will mean that you will be made to be sad in the future.
If you have a dream in which you see a crow though it might also just be because they fly and it might have to do with their flight pattern. If you see a crow flying upwards then this means that your burdens in life will begin to lift magically. If you have a dream in which crows are flying downward or nose-diving or if you have a dream in which crows are falling from the sky though then this means bad things for you.
It means that you are going to shoot for something high in the sky and you are going to end up falling because of it. You can't focus on your goal or you will get sidetracked and because of this momentary interruption you will find yourself falling short of your goals. Try not to think about it or you will end up killing yourself. Not actually speaking of course, but more metaphorically speaking.
Dreaming of crows suggests impending misfortune, influenced bad decisions, and vulnerability to manipulation, especially for young men towards deceptive women.
In dream symbolism, the crow may emerge as a messenger of the subconscious, often cloaked in the mysterious and morose hues of the human psyche. These dark-feathered birds, steeped in myth and legend, have been long associated with ominous portents and the crossing of the veil between life and death.
When a crow makes its presence known in your dreams, it's not uncommon to feel a chill of premonition. Seeing a crow could signal an approaching period of trials and misfortune—a touch of darkness before the dawn of understanding. The crow's foreboding nature beckons you to examine what aspects of your life may soon be challenged or what losses may be on the horizon.
To hear the distinctive caw of crows cuts through the eerie silence of the dream world, serving as a warning. It suggests that external opinions and negative influences may be clouding your judgment, particularly in matters of financial or material consequence.
For the young man, the crow becomes an embodiment of seduction and deceit. Its appearance whispers caution against being ensnared by charm and beauty that conceal selfish intentions, a reminder that not all that glitters is gold.
Example and Interpretation: Imagine a dream in which you stand in a field, the sky overhead brooding and unforgiving. Suddenly, a murder of crows descends, their cries piercing the heavy air. As you navigate through the field, trying to avoid their looming presence, they begin to drop stones in your path.
In this scenario, the crows represent external pressures and obstacles being placed before you. The stones might symbolize the hard and difficult decisions you're forced to make as you navigate life's complexities. The field could be a metaphor for the open opportunities and choices that lie before you, but the crows caution that not every opportunity is without its risks.
This dream scenario serves as an allegory about the importance of being vigilant in the face of uncertainty and remaining guarded against those who may have self-serving motives. It is an invitation to listen to your intuition and stand firm in your values even when surrounded by chaos or when the path before you is daunting.

I just had a similar dream to an affectionate crow fluffed up, in a loving manner, cuddling on me and my son while he sat in my lap. Almost like he was happy to see us like a pet while we were outside in the daylight in our yard under a tree. What does that mean?

Crows in dreams can represent different things depending on the culture and personal associations. Here are some various symbolic interpretations:
1. Intelligence and Adaptability: Crows are often seen as clever and resourceful animals. Dreaming of a friendly crow might suggest that you or your son possess or are in need of these qualities in a situation in your waking life.
2. Transition or Change: In many cultures, crows are messengers or symbolic of transformation. The dream could symbolize upcoming changes or the need to adapt to new circumstances.
3. Connection to the Unconscious: Birds, in general, are sometimes associated with the link between the conscious and unconscious mind. The affectionate behavior of the crow in your dream might represent your comfort with exploring deeper aspects of your psyche or intuition.
4. Protective Guidance: Given that the crow was cuddling with you and your son, it could symbolize a protective presence or guidance in your life—perhaps you feel a strong need to care for and protect your family.
5. Emotional Release: Cuddling is often associated with love, security, and comfort. The dream could mean that you are experiencing or seeking these emotions in your waking life.
6. Communication: Since crows are vocal birds, the dream might be highlighting the importance of communication with your son or in your family relationships.
7. Personal Associations: It's possible that you have a personal experience or feeling associated with crows that your subconscious is bringing to your attention. Think about any specific memories or feelings you have regarding crows and how they might relate to your life right now.

I dreamt of a crow in my mother’s house. The crow was a pet, my pet I think, but not caged. It flew around the house and I walked around with it on my arm. I felt a closeness to the bird. Any ideas what this could mean??

I’ve had a dream where I was in a massive field next to my house, the area was foggy with long grass around me, and it was set in a dark early morning. As I stood in the field, I hear something squawking, out of instinct I walked towards the noise, as I grew closer I see a black grow perching on top of a car, it looked at me in the eye while it carried on squawking, in that situation I felt calm, not troubled or disturbed at all.

A crow often comes to me in dreams, every time it's a boggy area, fog everywhere, and the crow is on a little dead tree branch. He speaks to me in a strangely familiar voice, and tells me when someone will die. I may not even know them, but I know that they'll die on a certain day... He usually comes once or twice a year to tell me these things, and every time he tells me "there's nothing you can do.." in this strangely apologetic, familiar voice, as if he knows how I feel, like he knows I want to help this person, and he knows it infuriates me to know I cannot do a thing. Honestly it scares me, he first came to me 3 years before my Aunt Sarah died. I wouldn't see him until 2 years later, one day before a friend of mine committed suicide. I knew then this crow was either Death, or something else. Something divine maybe? I don't know, I've been interested in the paranormal since I was 4 though...

I WAS LAYING BACK AND A CROW LANDED NEAR MY KNEE. I DIDN'T WANT TO SCARE IT OFF, BUT COULDN'T RESIST PUTTING MY HAND TOWARDS IT IN AN ATTEMPT TO BEFRIEND IT. THE CROW RUBBED MY HAND WITH IT'S FACE MUCH AS A CAT WOULD. I NOTICED AN OBJECT IN ITS BEAK, AND IT SEEMED INSISTENT ON ME HAVING IT AS IT WAS RATHER FORCEFUL IN PLACING IT IN MY PALM. IN THE DREAM I ACTUALLY FELT PAIN FROM THE BEAK. I WENT TO PICK IT UP AND THE CROW WAS VERY CALM AND LOVING. IT ROLLED OVER ON ITS BACK IN A VERY SUBMISSIVE AND AFFECTIONATE STATE IN MY ARMS. I AWOKE AFTER THAT AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SHAKE THE DREAM. ANYONE HAVE ANY INPUT ON THIS?

I record all of my dreams. I notice some very interesting stuff from time to time, and have a much better memory of dreams going years back. A couple years ago, I had a recurring dream about a crow staring down one of my classmates. It was as if I was watching from a third-person view. The classmate didn't notice the crow, but the crow watched him. Had this dream several times. After I graduated, I never saw the classmate again and stopped having the dream. A few days ago, I see in the news that that classmate has just murdered someone and is now facing life in prison.

This exact same thing happened to me but it was my Mum who passed. The crow at the start had like an elastic band around its wings and was just hovering around above me, but I managed to get it to come to me and I took the band off. After I did that it took to the sky and circled a few times around me before flying away. I woke up with a horrible feeling my Mum was about to die and days later she did pass away. I'm sorry about your father, I was close with my Mum and it never gets easier. Take care.
