Dream Dictionary Disembodied

When something is disembodied, this does not necessarily mean that you have been cut off from anything, at least not forcibly necessarily; it just means that it has been given a new home of some kind somewhere else. In fact the term disembodies is rarely used outside of fantasy because it is normally used to describe things that operate without the need of the body that they would normally be attached to. For example, the sentient moving hand from the Addams Family was a disembodied hand because even though it was cut off from the source, it still exhibited lifelike characteristics. This is what it means to be disembodied.

If you have a dream in which you see something disembodied, like disembodied head, disembodied eyes, etc then this does not mean you need to panic yet. Again some people think that dreams with violence are indicative of the fact that they are coming from a violent person, but this is not always the case, it could very well be that the person is very nice and that you have nothing to worry about. You are still perfectly normal. All this means is that something has scared you. When you go out and watch a scary movie, your dreams aren't usually haunted with images of the movie's antagonist, but random scary images and this might be one of those times.

Disembodied eyes specifically can mean that you are feeling like you need to be able to see outside of yourself. There is something which requires a fresh perspective but your own is too biased. You want to be able to separate yourself and see things from a new angle.
