Dream Dictionary Swooning

Swooning has always been hard to define as a dream symbol because it is not relatable. The swoon was a choreographed move invented in the movies and is simply not something that occurs on an everyday basis. It is because of this, that information regarding swooning can be so difficult to find in a dream dictionary. However, the meaning of dream involving swooning can be understood to be romantically linked because of the fact that our cultural understanding of the action is irrevocably linked to that mindset. Swooning only happens in romantic situations, therefore if someone swoons in your dreams; it must have a message that is romantically related.

The dream meanings of swooning are all different depending on who is doing the swooning and who they are swooning for. If your dream involved you swooning over someone, then this is probably a message reminding you that you are attracted to this person. Make no mistake though; these are very different dream interpretations than you would get with dreams about holding hands or kissing. Kissing and holding hands and romantic activities such as that are more linked towards love as a form of companionship. While swooning is not inextricably linked to feelings of sexual lust or anything that serious, a swoon is usually something that occurs when you are overcome by someone's physical beauty. If you swoon for someone else, then you are probably attracted t them, or just feeling generally amorous feelings. Likewise, if you see someone else swoon over someone entirely different, then this could mean that you subconsciously feel that these two people belong together, or secretly suspect that the one swooning is attracted to the one being swooned for.

If someone is swooning over you in a dream, then a dream like this is probably tied in with your feelings of self confidence. This could even be indicative of a certain cocky attitude. You may have done something with your appearance recently that you believe others will find attractive. If this is the case, then you will probably be led to dream that there are scores of people swooning over you. If however, you have had a lack of self confidence recently, and have then had a dream where others were swooning over you, this could be a sign that you need to come out of your shell and let others admire your beauty. Maybe this is a sign that you are gaining a bit of your confidence back.

One thing to be wary of when you are going over your dream interpretation is to make sure that you are paying close attention and that people are actually swooning. What looks like swooning in a dream can often actually be fainting, and it would not behoove anyone to think too highly of themselves when their dreams are telling them that the fainting of others is unrelated to their appearance. Swooning is a very romantic thing to do, or a very romantic situation to be put in. Fainting simply recalls health concerns.
