As sweet as this story sounds, I can't help but think that she is taken. She is in a relationship and no matter how much someone claims to love me (I'm a taurus woman), I would find it hard to trust someone who would sabotage my relationship, potentially hurt me (someone you claim to want to be happy), just so you can have me for yourself. It's, in my opinion - and I'm sorry for being a cynic - selfish and shortsighted.
To the MichaelM, you phrased your story in such a way that almost any girl, regardless of her sign, will root for you. But this is the way I see your ordeal. If you truly want her to be happy, let her be. Be her friend. If you wholeheartedly believe the two of you are meant to be, it will happen. But don't force, and don't cause her any pain if you try to make some sort of move. It might come back to bite you in the *ss.
